Bala. E. Kimbi, popularly known by his stage name Bala 2K is a talented Cameroonian artist who hails from Bum, Boyo Division of the NorthWest region of Cameroon.

Born in a family of two, he is a graduate from the University of Buea and holds a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication.

As a child, Bala 2K had passion for acting and decided to pursue a career in film making; a decision which made him to enroll into the Buea Film Academy while in the university in 2014. His career as an actor was however cut short due to some pressures and constraints. But as they say, when one door closes, another is opened for us. The death of his acting career led to the birth of his musical career as he met his first producer; Vincinho The Beat Killa shortly after that.

He started music professionally in 2016 and since then we have been more than thrilled with his performance as an artist in the 237 entertainment industry. Describing his genre of music as Afro pop, he says he has the desire to do things differently and draws inspiration from the cultural wealth of Cameroon and Africa in general. The artist has entertained the vast Cameroonian audience with songs such as “Chop”, “Ndolo”, “Kiss u”, “Mulema cover” and clearly, nothing will stop him as he is to release a new single called “Nakupenda”.

Bala 2K’s talent and passion for what he knows how to do best(entertain Camerronians) hss helped create a permanent spot for him in the 237 entertainment industry.
